Original Prusa XL is a modern CoreXY 3D printer , offering a workspace of 360 x 360 x 360 mm . It is equipped with one head , but also allows for optional expansion to five independent heads , which allows printing with multiple materials simultaneously. Thanks to the use of Nextruder with a strain gauge sensor, it is possible to obtain a perfect first layer, and the segmented heating table with 16 independently controlled zones minimizes the risk of thermal deformation. Phase Stepping technology ensures exceptionally quiet operation of the device, even at high printing speeds. The Input Shaper and Pressure Advance functions enable precise and fast creation of models. The printer is compatible with a wide range of filaments - from PLA and PETG to technical materials such as ASA, ABS, Flex or PVA, making it an ideal solution for both professionals and 3D printing enthusiasts. The set includes an official housing and accessories.

The official Original Prusa XL Enclosure is designed to provide optimal thermal conditions during 3D printing . It protects models from drafts and changing environmental conditions, which significantly reduces the risk of deformation, especially when using demanding materials such as ASA , ABS or PC. The integrated HEPA filtration system with 99.9% efficiency effectively removes odors and ultra-fine particulate matter (UFPS), increasing user safety. The accordion-shaped front panel allows easy access to the interior of the enclosure and supports ventilation when working with heat-sensitive filaments, such as PLA. Additionally, the enclosure muffles noise , making it an ideal solution for educational and professional environments.
Expandable to multi-material printing
The Original Prusa XL single-head version is designed for precise and reliable single-material printing, but the printer's design allows for easy expansion with additional heads. Once installed, it is possible to obtain full functionality of multi-material printing - without the need for a cleaning tower, which significantly reduces the amount of waste . In the future, you can use functions such as Spool Join , which allows for automatic spool change when printing large models.

The 360 x 360 x 360 mm work area provides enough space for the implementation of extensive industrial and utility projects. Nextruder equipped with a strain gauge sensor and automatic calibration guarantees perfect first layer placement on any work surface. Prusa XL is a reliable printer that can be started and left without the need for constant supervision.

The Original Prusa XL provides full control versatility - both locally and remotely - thanks to the built-in WiFi and LAN port . Intuitive operation is possible via a 3.5-inch touchscreen with additional physical controls, which makes navigation and configuration easier. The central electronic element in the Prusa XL is the xBuddy motherboard with a 32-bit STM32 microcontroller , supported by precise Trinamic 2130 stepper motors with a 1.8° step. Material extrusion is carried out by the Nextruder with an all-metal hotend and a 10:1 planetary gear system, which translates into high filament feeding accuracy. The printer is equipped with an extensive set of sensors : a strain gauge to detect contact with the table surface, a filament presence sensor, a Power Panic system and four precise thermistors monitoring temperature. The whole thing works under the control of open-source software, which is regularly updated by the manufacturer, introducing new functions and improvements.
