Product description: Prusa PETG filament 1.75 mm 1 kg - Orange NFC
Filament made of PETG by the world-renowned 3D printing company Prusa Research . The orange material is manufactured with a very high precision of 0.02 mm. The filament diameter is 1.75 mm . Before printing, the printer must be properly configured: nozzle temperature from 240°C to 260°C, bed temperature from 70°C to 90°C.
Our range of filaments also includes other materials and colors.
PETG is a very strong and temperature-resistant material. It's versatile, but it's particularly well-suited for printing mechanical parts for both indoor and outdoor applications. It has low thermal expansion, so even printing large models without a printer enclosure rarely causes issues with curling or lifting edges. It's flexible and bendable, preventing parts from cracking under pressure. PETG is used in the production of Prusa 3D printers.

Produced by Josef Prusa
Because the quality of commercially available filaments wasn't sufficient, the company's founder (Josef Prusa) decided to create his own filament production lines. The entire production process is strictly controlled and tested to ensure that each spool is perfect. The market standard diameter of 0.05 mm was insufficient for the company's owner, so he created his own production line, guaranteeing a tolerance of ±0.02 mm and high color uniformity . You can check the filament quality on the manufacturer's website ( check the test spool ).

Prusa's PETG filaments, thanks to their high fluidity, enable printing speeds of up to 200 mm/s. Their specific density is 1.27 g³, and water absorption ranges from 0.2% to 0.3%. In turn, the tensile strength of the described thermoplastic material is 46 × 1 MPa, according to the ISO 527 standard.
3D printing using 1.75 mm Prusa PETG filament is used in numerous industries. It is used for printing specialized tools, containers, housings, and prototyping.
What else is worth knowing about Prusa PETG filament?
The temperature at which PETG filaments begin to soften is between 80℃ and 85℃. They do not emit an unpleasant odor during heat treatment.
Excellent interlayer adhesion ensures the tightness of models. Due to its properties and ease of use, PETG is a popular choice for both experienced and beginner 3D printing enthusiasts.
