Product description: LoRaWAN EU868 MHz module with antenna - Unit expansion module - M5Stack U184-EU868
The LoRaWAN Unit EU868 module is an advanced communication extension dedicated to IoT systems, based on the energy-saving STM32WLE5 microcontroller . It supports the European 868 MHz band and offers full compliance with the LoRaWAN 1.0.3 protocol (Class A, B, C), as well as point-to-point (P2P) communication mode. Thanks to very high reception sensitivity (up to -137 dBm) and the included stub antenna with a gain of 2.8 dBi , it ensures a stable transmission range even in difficult conditions. Communication with the module takes place via UART using AT commands. Small dimensions and compatibility with the LEGO system facilitate assembly in mobile and educational projects.

Module connection and compatibility
The Unit LoRaWAN EU868 module communicates with the master system via the UART interface , configured by default to a speed of 115200 b/s. It supports a set of AT commands that allow for full configuration of transmission parameters and operating modes. The set includes a Grove cable , allowing for easy connection to other M5Stack modules or external microcontrollers. The module is compatible with Arduino IDE, UIFlow 1.0 and 2.0 platforms, which makes it easy to integrate with existing educational, prototyping and commercial projects.
Module Applications
The LoRaWAN Unit EU868 module is used in projects that require long-range communication and energy-efficient data transmission . It is perfect as:
- Smart Farming Data Collection Node
- Environmental sensor in air and water quality monitoring systems
- Data transfer module in industrial networks
- Element of home or city automation systems
Thanks to UART communication and wide support for development platforms, it is also ideal for educational and prototyping applications.
