The Atom DTU LoRaWAN-EU868 module from M5Stack is a versatile data transmitter equipped with a built-in LoRaWAN protocol stack , supporting connections to servers such as TTN, ChirpStack, Actility , and others. It operates in the 868 MHz to 870 MHz frequency range with high receive sensitivity down to -137 dBm . It offers two activation methods: OTAA and ABP . Thanks to its industrial-grade RS485 connector and UART interface, it is suitable for integration with a wide range of systems. The module is designed for mounting on a 35 mm DIN rail , simplifying installation in switchboards and control cabinets.

Pins and interfaces - how to connect the module
The module offers two connection modes: Fixed Connect and Switch Connect . Depending on the selected controller (e.g., AtomS3, AtomS3R, Atom Matrix), the UART and RS485 pins will be assigned to different GPIO pins.
