The Waveshare Serial Bus Servo Adapter Board integrates servo power and control circuitry , providing stable and efficient operation of serial servos. With support for a wide range of input voltages from 9V to 12.6V and a compact size, this board is easy to integrate into projects with limited space. It can control up to 253 ST and SC servos simultaneously, but requires an appropriate power supply for all connected servos. Bus Servo Adapter (A) compatible servos
Compatible servos include both ST and SC series models , however, please note that simultaneous use of servos from both series is not recommended. For the ST series, the following models are supported: ST3215-HS , ST3215 , ST3025 and ST3020 . For the SC series, the SC09 and SC15 models are available. When using different models within a single series, it is important to ensure that the input power of the power supply is sufficient to meet the requirements of all connected servos simultaneously.
Serial bus servo rotation control
The board supports control via UART and USB. Depending on the device used, you can switch control modes using a jumper.
- UART Control : enables direct control of serial servos via UART, supports hardware platforms such as Raspberry Pi Zero, ESP32, Arduino and STM32.
- USB Control : Allows you to easily control serial servos and receive data back from USB-equipped hosts such as PCs, Raspberry Pi 4B, or Jetson Orin Nano.
