Impressive workspace
The Original Prusa XL offers a build volume of 360 x 360 x 360 mm , allowing for the implementation of complex and demanding projects. This makes it an ideal 3D printer for both professionals and amateurs who need a device to work with larger models.
Modular heated table
The heating table consists of 16 individually controlled segments , which ensures even heat distribution over the entire work surface. This design minimizes the risk of deformation resulting from temperature changes and ensures excellent adhesion of the first layer of the print. Thanks to this, printing takes place in ideal conditions, regardless of the size of the model, which significantly affects the quality and stability of prints.
Nextruder - the next generation extruder
Prusa XL is equipped with an advanced extruder - Nextruder with a strain gauge sensor , which guarantees excellent quality of the first print layer. Thanks to the 1:10 gear ratio and built-in accelerometer , the extruder precisely feeds the filament, which improves the quality of prints. What's more, the lack of the need to print a full cleaning tower significantly reduces the amount of waste and leftover material.
Multi-material printing
Prusa XL features five independent print heads , allowing you to use different materials in one project, such as TPU or carbon fiber-reinforced filaments. The Spool Join function automatically starts taking filament from the next spool when it runs out, ensuring uninterrupted work. This solution is ideal for using up leftover materials and for large, multi-material projects. The printer supports up to five 2 kg filament spools , which allows you to print objects weighing up to 10 kg without having to interfere with the process. Additionally, Prusa XL supports a wide range of filaments , making it extremely versatile.
How Phase Stepping technology works.
Advanced technologies for fast printing
Prusa XL is equipped with Input Shaper and Pressure Advance technologies, which enable fast printing while maintaining high-quality details. These features automatically adjust printing parameters in real time , minimizing vibrations and ensuring exceptional precision, even with complex models.
Quiet operation at high speeds
Phase Stepping technology monitors the motor response and optimizes control signals , making the printer exceptionally quiet. Even at high print speeds, the device operates almost silently, making it ideal for use in quiet environments such as a home office. Additionally, turning on Stealth mode reduces noise even further . Watch the video that explains Phase Stepping technology in detail!
Easy to use and modern software
Prusa XL runs on a 32-bit platform and supports Prusa Connect , which allows for remote monitoring and management of the printing process . The intuitive interface and regular software updates ensure simple and convenient operation, guaranteeing trouble-free use.
Intuitive control panel
The Prusa XL control panel provides easy navigation, thanks to the possibility of using both a physical knob and a color touchscreen . The LCD panel allows for quick navigation through the menu and offers clear instructions. Additional features, such as G-code preview, QR codes and the option to cancel objects , make operating the printer convenient, fast and intuitive.
