Product description: Tinycontrol MLX90614 - digital temperature sensor - non-contact
The MLX90614 is a non-contact temperature sensor that allows for ambient temperature readings from -40°C to 85°C and object temperature readings from -40°C to 380°C . The sensor communicates via an I2C bus, ensuring simple integration with control systems and prototyping platforms. Its wide measurement range, high resolution, and accuracy make it ideal for monitoring industrial processes, electronic devices, mechanical components, and installations requiring continuous temperature measurement. The 35° FOV allows for defining the measurement area based on the sensor's distance from the object being measured.
Main features of the temperature sensor
- Non-contact temperature measurement : enables measurement without touching the tested object
- Melexis MLX90614 sensor : ensures high accuracy and stability of measurements
- I2C interface : enables easy communication with microcontrollers and single-board computers
- Wide measurement range : supports measuring ambient temperature from -40°C to 85°C and object temperature from -40°C to 380°C
- Resolution of 0.02°C : allows for precise monitoring of temperature changes
- 35° FOV measurement angle : makes it easier to determine the area covered by the measurement
