Advanced tracking, positioning, and AI features

Go2 Edu utilizes the advanced ISS2.0 tracking system, based on wireless vector technology , which allows for precise tracking of the operator with a range of over 30 meters in dynamic environments. The robot can perform a variety of postures and movements—from walking backward and rolling to dancing, sitting, and jumping. Thanks to its high flexibility, it maintains balance and stability in challenging terrain . and its AI algorithms enable autonomous navigation and adaptation to the environment.

Intelligence supported by hardware

The Go2 Edu is equipped with 12 precision motors with torque up to 45 Nm , resulting in high maneuverability and smooth movements. The aluminum-composite housing ensures durability while maintaining a low weight (15 kg). Perception is provided by a hemispherical 4D LiDAR sensor, an Intel RealSense depth camera, a microphone, and pressure sensors in the limbs . The 15,000 mAh battery offers up to 4 hours of operation, and 33.6 V / 9 A charging allows for quick resumption of operation.

Through large-scale simulation using artificial intelligence, the Go2 robot learned advanced walking techniques such as walking upside down, adaptively tumbling, and overcoming obstacles.

Extensive control options and interfaces

You can control the robot using the included wireless controller or through a dedicated mobile app . Go2 Edu also supports voice commands , and optional extensions allow you to create autonomous movement sequences. Thanks to Ethernet ports, USB Type-C , and wireless connectivity (WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, 4G - eSIM), the robot can be easily integrated with external systems and IoT platforms. The Edu version also allows you to connect a docking station with I/O ports and extensions (e.g., D1 arm, other LiDARs).

Software and Open Architecture for Education

Unitree Go2 Edu supports programming in C++ and Python, as well as integration with the ROS and ROS 2 frameworks. An open API allows for low-level motion control and access to raw sensor data. Thanks to documentation and a graphical programming environment, you can create your own applications in computer vision, SLAM, obstacle detection, and image recognition.
