Properties of Fiberlogy ASA filament
- High mechanical strength, which makes it applicable to printing of sports pads and housings of electronic systems
- Resistance to ultraviolet UV radiation
- Relatively low odour emissions during printing
- Much lower shrinkage than ABS, so there is no need for a heated printer chamber Increased adhesion prevents the phenomenon of "curling" of the model

- Temperature resistance up to 94°C
- ASA prints can be smoothed and glued with acetone. The finished model can also be sanded and painted.
Printing tips
- Printing with ASA filament does not require a closed working chamber
- Manufacturer suggests setting the airflow value: up to 25%
- Flowrate value: from 90% to 100%

- Retraction settings:
- for Direct type extruders: from 1 to 2 mm
- for Bowden-type extruders: from 4 to 6 mm
- Suggested retraction speed: from 20 to 45 m/s
- When printing in a chamber that is not heated, it is recommended to avoid drafts and sudden gusts of air directed at the printed model
- Retraction: from 2 mm to 3 mm
