The segment of filaments for FDM 3D printers is today an extremely interesting area of the global technological market. On the one hand, the vast majority of additive manufacturing consumables available today are based on several main polymers: ABS, PLA, PET-G and - used somewhat less often - ASA, TPU, PC, Nylon or HIPS. On the other hand, the fight for customers takes place in the field of various improvements - including, above all, admixtures that change individual visual or strength properties of materials. You can also "shine" through rigorous quality control, which translates into excellent dimensional stability (deviations of the actual diameter of the filament filament with a nominal value - e.g. 1.75 mm - directly translate into the appearance of the surface of the printouts). The Polymaker brand - based in Chinese Changshu and offices in Shanghai, Dutch Utrecht and Houston (USA) - has a lot to offer its customers when it comes to filaments.

Polymaker - excellent quality and care for ecology

The first glance at the Polymaker filaments we offer shows that we are dealing with branded products where attention to detail is a priority. The company offers materials in very eye-pleasing colors, and the palette includes both expressive and quite bright versions, as well as extremely delicate, pastel colors, which are hard to find in the offers of competitors. Polymaker filaments come in dozens of varieties - the manufacturer offers as many as a dozen "variations" on the subject of PLA, plus four PETG categories, two versions of ABS and ASA, and three varieties of TPU. There were also five modifications of polycarbonate (PC), including a mixture with ABS, as well as five versions of nylon filaments and nine families of other products that cannot be classified in any of the groups mentioned so far. It is also worth paying attention to the ecological aspect - the Polymaker brand, unlike many other producers, has opted for biodegradable spools made of wood-based material, which do not burden the natural environment to such an extent as plastic spools.
