Description: Spectrum PLA Thermoactive 1,75 mm 1 kg - Red
Thermoactive PLA material is based on pure PLA with an addition of thermochromic pigment. This additive causes the 3D printer to change its colour under the influence of a specific temperature. The diameter of the filament is 1.75 mm. The material is wound on a transparent spool and vacuum packed.
In the case of Spectrum Thermoactive PLA product, it is the change of colour from red to cream when the surface temperature exceeds 30°C. The red colour returns gradually once the component reaches a lower temperature (below 30°C).
In our offer of filaments you will also find other materials and colors.
Properties of PLA Thermoactive
- The material is made from biodegradable materials
- Printing is possible without a heated table
- Colour change of the material above 30°C
- Highly resistant to stretching and abrasion
- Printed parts are rigid and easy to handle
- Models do not shrink after cooling
Suggested parameters for printing with the filament
| Printing temperature | From 190°C to 220°C |
| Heated table | From 0°C to 45°C |
| Printing speed | From 40 to 110 mm/sec. |
| Due to differences in printer construction, the above data should be treated as guidelines, and the relevant values should be determined experimentally. |

Spectrum PLA Thermoactive 1,75 mm 1 kg - Red
Spectrum PLA Thermoactive is a series of felts, which are characterized by biodegradability, high quality printed surfaces. Printouts created with PLA Thermoactive can be used in a variety of projects, to produce temperature sensors, battery indicators, fuse tester elements, coatings for cups for hot drinks, coatings for kettles and thermostats for other electronic devices.
Filaments are hygroscopic, meaning they absorb moisture. Therefore, breaking the airtight vacuum packaging permanently reduces the quality and value of the product. For this reason, if an unpacked item is returned, the refund amount will be proportionally reduced. This does not apply to returns resulting from manufacturing defects in the material, such as damaged or cut filament. Please carefully check the color and material type on the label before opening the foil packaging.
