What are nylon filaments used for?
Nylon filament is often used in the automotive industry - it is used to produce, among others, fluid fillers, as well as elements of the engine compartment. This material is perfect for the production of mechanical system components, such as gears, gears, bearings, and spare parts. It also enables the production of details for the assembly of functional prototypes (capable of illustrating the functionality of a given mechanical system). In addition, it can be used to produce intensively exploited elements, such as hinges or buckles.
How to print with nylon filaments?
When using Nylon Filaments in a 3D printer, you need to pay attention to whether the manufacturer of the device requires the use of only its own brand materials, or whether the user can purchase polyamide from any other manufacturer. The second issue is the compatibility of the 3D printer with nylon filaments. As a rule, polyamide requires a high temperature of the print head (exceeding 250 o C), it is also advisable to heat the print bed.
