Housings for PLC boards with printed circuits are an essential element if the electronic circuit made is the final version of the device. A universal external casing can fulfill many different functions - one of them is the appearance of the device that the user will encounter every time it is used. Our assortment includes various types of housings in black, gray or white, and each model looks neat and professional. Plastic housing - Dimensions and holes
Botland's offer includes universal housings in many different sizes - you can easily match the housing to your board . You can search for available dimensions by selecting the appropriate dimensions in a specially prepared search engine - width (from 16 to 250 mm), length (from 15 to 410 mm) and height (from 2 to 180 mm). The housing made of plastic should also have special holes through which you can lead the cables, or you can place sockets there that will connect you to the PLC board inside.
Some models are adapted for use in power supply projects connected to standard Polish wall sockets (230 V). We also offer cases with ventilation holes, so you can be sure of the efficiency of the installed cooling in the logical system. There are also models with "ears" (for mounting, for example, on a wall) and those adapted for mounting on a DIN rail. We also offer models made of steel sheet, which guarantees full safety, including: printed circuit boards. The housing material should always be adapted to the electronic devices and their use. Tightness of the housing for electronic systems
Some logical systems require the use of a housing ensuring a specific tightness class . Thanks to our search engine in the housing category, you can select products that have a specific tightness class. Marked housings are available
IP20 - this means that the housing (made of e.g. plastic) does not protect against water in any way, but protects against foreign bodies with a diameter greater than (or equal to) 12.5 mm. The IP53 marking ensures that the universal housing protects against water splashes at any angle up to 60° from the vertical and against dust, while IP54 provides protection against water splashes from any direction. The IP65 marked housing provides the highest level of protection against dust (dustproof) and protection against getting wet when a stream of water (12.5 l/min) is directed at the housing from any angle, and IP67 protection allows for short-term immersion in water (approx. 30 min to a depth of 0.15 m).

The computer case should be durable, hard and easy to arrange from the inside. It is worth paying attention to the location and size of the holes (for example, for cable entries) - individual models differ significantly in this respect.
When choosing a PC case, it is worth making sure that it has enough space inside for all components. In addition, remember that the casing allows for adequate cooling and has effective dust filters, especially in places where air is sucked inside.
