The xTool Selected Air Compressor & Air Dryer kit was created for xTool MetalFab users who need a ready-made and customized source of compressed air for metal cutting. The kit includes two compatible devices: an air compressor that generates compressed air, and an air dryer that removes moisture, oil, rust, and dust. This is crucial because air quality directly affects the appearance of edges, repeatability, and durability of the entire system when cutting metal. Technically, the kit offers parameters that are truly important in everyday work. The compressor provides a maximum pressure of 10 bar , an operating pressure from 6 bar to 7.9 bar , a flow rate of 350 l/min , a 20 l tank , and a power of 2200 W. The dryer handles a flow rate of up to 400 l/min , operates at pressures up to 12.5 bar , and maintains a dew point from 2°C to 10°C . This allows for stable, clean, and dry air, which replaces expensive industrial gases in many metal cutting applications. The devices are characterized by an extremely compact design, making them ideal for smaller workshops and workshops, while offering performance comparable to that of large industrial units.

HyperPure air filtration in the xTool Air Dryer
The dryer included in the kit plays a crucial role because air compression alone is not sufficient to achieve good results when cutting metal. Air drawn from the environment can contain moisture, oil particles, dust, and rust particles, which reduce cut quality, increase system contamination, and accelerate wear of working parts. Therefore, the kit includes a HyperPure system that prepares the air for work with the xTool MetalFab . The first stage is a sintered nano-PE filter (1 µm) that removes 99% of oil, moisture, and dust. The second stage utilizes borosilicate glass fiber (0.1 µm) with a two-stage Lydall filter, achieving 99.99% efficiency. The final barrier, with an accuracy of 0.01 µm, ensures almost complete air purification (99.999%). Additionally, a dew point maintained between 2°C and 10°C helps maintain dry air, which is crucial for precise metal cutting. In practice, this means better edge quality, less risk of contamination in the system and more stable working conditions.

Compatible with SaveGas nozzle and compact design
The system has been optimized for use with the proprietary SaveGas nozzle , which, thanks to its telescopic design, minimizes gas leaks and concentrates the airflow. This allows for a pressure of 6 bar to achieve results comparable to nitrogen at 12 bar. This is a significant advantage for users who want to reduce labor costs, simplify their workspace, and still maintain high cutting efficiency. The system allows for burr-free cutting of 4 mm thick stainless steel, 4 mm thick aluminum, and brass up to 3 mm . Using standard nozzles, the system also handles carbon steel (1 mm) and galvanized sheet (1 mm) . The devices are designed to operate in a wide temperature range from -10°C to 40°C , ensuring their reliability in various workshop conditions. Another significant advantage of the entire solution is its compact size. The entire system occupies approximately 0.066 m³, making it easier to integrate into a small workshop than large industrial installations or gas cylinder systems.
