What is a multi-color printing system used for?

Whether you're printing decorative elements, prototypes, signage, organizers, educational models, or functional parts, a multicolor printing system gives you greater design freedom. You can create prints with separate color zones without manually changing spools while the printer is running. Furthermore, you can use a support material other than the base material, which simplifies post-processing and allows for cleaner results with more challenging geometries.

How does automatic filament management work?

The basis of such solutions is the controlled feeding of multiple filaments into a single printer. The system recognizes which material is to be used at a given moment and then directs it to the feed path according to the task defined in the project. The device automatically switches the active filament, monitors the workflow, and helps maintain a stable material flow. In everyday printing, this means less manual handling and a reduced risk of errors during longer print runs.

What will you find in this category?

The core of our offerings are complete multi-material systems. These are modules that work with selected printers and handle multiple spools. Their purpose is to automatically change filament during printing, streamline the process, and expand the capabilities of a single printer without altering its basic design.

The second group consists of expansion and modernization modules. Their purpose is to expand an existing setup or adapt the printer to work with an external feeding system. Such components make sense when you want to increase the functionality of your workstation without replacing the entire printer. They also allow the equipment to grow with your needs, starting with simpler prints and eventually moving on to projects requiring greater flexibility.

We offer systems compatible with printers such as the Bambu Lab A1 mini, A1, X1, P1, P2, H2, AMS, Prusa CORE One, MK4, Creality K1, K2, Hi, and others.

What else do we offer?

This category also includes hubs, intermediate modules responsible for connecting and routing multiple filament paths. These accessories simplify material routing between the system and the printer, helping to organize cables and reduce workspace clutter. Hubs provide more convenient installation and better organization of the entire feed path.

The next group are filament buffers. Their function is to stabilize the material during switching, retraction, and re-feeding. The buffer helps maintain smooth filament movement, reduces stress on the guide wire, and supports predictable operation of the entire system.

Adapters, guide components and accessories for moisture protection

Adapters and guide elements are also available, including accessories for working with PTFE tubing. These allow for a more orderly filament path, preventing accidental bending of the material and preventing multiple paths from tangling in one place. This is especially important when the printer is using multiple spools and each spool needs a clearly defined path to the feed system.

Further suggestions include accessories designed to protect filament from moisture. Desiccant inserts help maintain the material in better condition, which translates into stable printing and a reduced risk of problems related to filament moisture.

Dry filament and repeatable effect

Multicolor printing typically takes longer than a simple single-material model. During this time, the filament remains in the feed system, and its condition directly impacts the workflow. If the material absorbs moisture from the environment, it can result in poorer feed flow, less stable extrusion, and poorer surface aesthetics.
