The MMU3 Lite is an optional module for the Prusa CORE One printer , allowing you to create complex, colorful prints using up to five filaments without the need for multiple printheads. This is the most affordable version of the MMU3. The system utilizes an innovative cleaning tower, bidirectional communication with the printer , and modern software for slicing and painting models. The kit does not include the printer's top panel – the CORE One remains open at the top after assembly.

Differences between MMU3 Lite and Enclosed versions
The MMU3 module for the Prusa CORE One is available in two variants – Lite and Enclosed , differing in assembly and intended use. The Lite version does not include a top panel, allowing the printer to operate in an open configuration , which is sufficient for materials like PLA and PETG. The Enclosed version, on the other hand, is designed to retain the full enclosure of the CORE One – it includes a new top panel with a filament pass-through, enabling printing in a closed chamber and better conditions for more demanding materials.
