Four colors and filament drying in one
Anycubic ACE 2 Pro is a four-spool filament station that feeds material to the printer and dries it at the same time. This version fits the Anycubic Kobra X, Kobra S1 and Kobra S1 Max printers.
Each channel has its own brushless motor, and a new buffer mechanism evens out filament feeding and retraction. Filament loads at 50 mm/s, twice as fast as in the first-generation ACE Pro, so a color change takes about 56 seconds instead of 84 seconds.

Dry filament throughout the whole print
ACE 2 Pro dries filament at up to 65 °C even while the printer is running. Temperature and humidity sensors show the conditions in the chamber in the app, in the slicer and on the printer screen. A solenoid valve actively removes moisture, and a silicone seal blocks humid air when the station only stores the spools.
The manufacturer states that drying works well with PLA, PETG and PVB. It will accept and dry ASA, ABS, PA, PC and fiber-filled materials, but the results will not be optimal.
Is it a good choice for you?
A good choice if:
- You have a Kobra X, Kobra S1 or Kobra S1 Max and want to print in four colors
- You print with PETG or PLA and want to dry filament during printing
- You plan prints in more colors with several ACE 2 Pro stations
Consider another option if:
- You already have the ACE Pro for the Kobra S1 and its speed is enough for you: stay with ACE Pro for Kobra S1

Up to 16 colors in one print
The manufacturer states that by combining four ACE 2 Pro stations, you can print a model in up to 16 colors. The number of supported colors depends on the printer model.

Does it dry filament during printing?
Yes. ACE 2 Pro dries filament at up to 65 °C even while the printer is printing, so you do not have to interrupt the job.
Which filaments does it support?
The manufacturer lists, among others, PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PET, PA, PC, PP, POM, HIPS, PVB, TPU 68D and carbon fiber materials, as well as PVA and BVOH after drying. The filament diameter is 1.75 mm.
Does it work with filaments from other manufacturers?
Yes, feeding and drying work with other filaments. Automatic recognition of parameters works only with Anycubic filaments and requires internet access.
Can I combine ACE 2 Pro with ACE Pro?
No. The manufacturer states that ACE Pro and ACE 2 Pro cannot work at the same time in one printer.

30 days to return, without giving a reason
