The SparkFun adapter uses the 22-pin interface present in the HSTX connector on the Raspberry Pi 5 and RP2350 IoT RedBoard boards and allows it to be physically routed to the HDMI connector, thus obtaining a DVI output. The adapter allows easy connection of compatible displays without the need for additional signal converters. The board is equipped with a flexible cable connector (FFC) and an HDMI socket , as well as the necessary elements responsible for matching logical levels and voltage - in accordance with the requirements of the DVI standard.
