Starter kits to learn programming of AVR microcontrollers
Offered by Botland store EvB kits from And-Tech, are addressed both to DIY beginners who make their first steps in the field of microprocessor technology, and to professional electronics programmers who are looking for a practical and universal platform on which to prototype their projects. The EvB kits are equipped with numerous components and peripheral circuits that can be connected to goldpin strips, which significantly simplifies and speeds up the design process, without the need for external contact boards. All goldpin connector strips are labeled and positioned close to the peripheral circuits in an intuitive way to reduce the need for platform technical documentation to a minimum.
Easy to use and compatible with many popular programming environments
And-Tech development kits come standard with a built-in timer, and communication with the computer is provided through a USB port that also provides power to the chips on the board surface. The platform can work with both Windows and Linux and is fully compatible with WinAVR, AVR Studio, BASCOM, Eclipse, CodeVision and ImageCraft environments. And-Tech development kits allow you to complete exercises from the course, the content of which is available in the monthly magazine "Electronics for All". With the help of And-Tech EvB development kits you will be able to build many interesting projects of practical value, including an 8-channel digital voltmeter and a digital ammeter, a temperature recorder with the function of saving the measurement results on an SD card, an intelligent multi-channel temperature controller, a lighting controller, building automation applications for intelligent houses, an on-board computer for a car, a controller for a central heating furnace, an alarm system with the function of sending SMS notifications to a phone, and a photovoltaic installation controller.
EvB - a full arsenal of peripherals available on a single board
The EvB bootstrap kit is available in our store in two versions - with Atmega32 and Atmega644P processors, each in a DIP40 package. The processor is clocked with a 16MHz quartz resonator. Goldpin strips with description allow for quick access to all processor pins, and the RTC clock allows for precise timing on the fly. The USB connector on the board is responsible for communication with the computer and power supply, and it is equipped with a fuse, so there is no need to connect an additional power supply to the board. A set of five buttons, eight LEDs and transistor outputs with a maximum bandwidth of 3x0.5A and 2x1.0A allow you to design lighting or motor control. The infrared receiver, temperature sensor and buzzer will allow you to build a weather station or a system providing acoustic warning in case of insufficient distance between two objects. Two displays - LCD 2x16 and quadruple eight-segment display allows to graphically present information e.g. about measured voltage, and MMC / SD card slot allows you to connect a memory card in order to record the measurement data. The RS485 connector enables the platform to work with PLCs. The voltage stabilizer ensures that the supply voltage is maintained at the correct level and has a protection against incorrect polarity of the power supply (on the board there is also a socket for connecting an external power supply). LED diodes indicate presence of supply voltage. There are 5 pins on the board, each giving 3.3V and 5.0V, so the board can work with digital circuits with different logic levels. The 10-pin ISP connector allows you to connect an external programmer for AVR microcontrollers. Two mounting potentiometers allow precise voltage adjustment depending on specific application.
