The design provides increased mechanical resistance , effective board protection , and an aesthetically pleasing, minimalistic appearance . The ample interior space allows for the installation of a variety of HATs and expansion modules, including PCIe, M.2, PoE, and communication solutions . Precisely machined openings perfectly match the Raspberry Pi 5 interfaces. The case also features spare, removable caps that can be removed to accommodate additional modules. Additionally, antenna openings and RF pinouts are provided, reducing WiFi and Bluetooth signal attenuation.
