This version features an active 30mm Argon THRML cooling system , which combines an aluminum heatsink with a PWM-controlled fan. This solution helps dissipate heat more efficiently from the Raspberry Pi 5 when operating under heavier loads, such as home servers, automation systems, media centers, and IoT projects. The case also provides space for a standard HAT, such as the Raspberry Pi M.2 HAT+ .
The THRML 30mm active cooling is powered by 5V DC from the Raspberry Pi 5 4-pin fan connector. It supports PWM control with a tachometer and the maximum fan speed is 8000 RPM +/- 15% .
