AMD Artix 7 XC7A35T - an efficient FPGA for parallel processing

The heart of the platform is the AMD Artix 7 XC7A35T-2FGG484I , a programmable FPGA packaged in a 484-pin package. This device allows you to create hardware logic blocks that perform multiple operations simultaneously, making it ideal for tasks requiring low latency and deterministic execution time. It can be used to implement controllers, digital filters, communication interfaces, and image processing pipelines, among other things. The Artix 7 architecture was built using 28nm technology and provides a favorable performance-to-power-to-cost ratio. Unlike a traditional microprocessor, an FPGA doesn't simply execute sequential program instructions; it allows you to design your own hardware structure. This allows the AX7035B to handle high-speed data streams, perform parallel processing, and work with multiple peripherals simultaneously.
