The M5Stack CardputerZero is a portable Linux lab-style pocket computer designed for programmers, makers, students, and cybersecurity enthusiasts. Running Linux, the device allows you to work with terminal tools, connect to servers via SSH, run Python code, and edit files using tools like Git and Vim. The manufacturer positions CardputerZero as a pocket-sized environment for coding, testing, and creating projects outside of a traditional computer.
The device has a built-in 46-button keyboard, a 1.9" LCD screen, a 1500 mAh Li-Po battery , a MEMS microphone, a 1 W speaker , and a 3.5 mm audio output . There is also a Sony IMX219 8 MP camera, an IMU module, RTC, 10/100M Ethernet, 2.4 GHz WiFi connectivity, and Bluetooth 4.2 / BLE . CardputerZero supports Grove modules and M5Stack extensions, and the available SPI, I2C, UART, USB, and GPIO interfaces allow you to use it as a mobile tool for prototyping, debugging, and hardware testing.
