Product description: Devil Design PLA 1,75 mm 1 kg - Marble Light
PLA filament is a thermoplastic polyester in a form of fiber, used for FFF 3D printing and printing pens. Produced by Devil Design company. Material with a net weight of 1 kg is wound on a spool and vacuum packed with moisture absorber. Filament in color Marble Light - light marble.
In our offer of filaments you will also find other materials and colors.
PLA Filament from Devil Design
The spool contains 1 kg net of filament, which can be used in all FFF printers not protected from using filaments from external supplier and open source design. PLA is a biodegradable material, made from renewable natural resources. It is a product primarily dedicated to beginners due to its trouble-free use.
Properties of PLA filament
- Easy to print at low temperatures
- Resistance to material warping
- Biodegradability
- Low odour intensity
- Inexpensive and comes in many colour variations
- It is not flammable
- High strength
- Totally waterproof
Suggested parameters for printing with the filament
Head temperature | From 200°C to 235°C |
Table temperature | From 50°C to 60°C |

Is 3D printing with PLA filament safe for health?
Phenomena involving the change in physical state of a substance from solid to liquid and vice versa can also be observed in the case of Devil Design PLA Galaxy 3D printer felt. During these transformations, fumes are also produced as a side effect. The polylactide filament is derived from natural raw materials, i.e. corn flour and sugar cane, which makes it environmentally friendly and fully biodegradable. Therefore, Devil Design PLA felt vapour is also safe for the health of living organisms.
The faster the solidification, the better the end result!
One of the inherent stages of the 3D printing process is the phase transition of the filament. In the first stage, the Devil Design PLA Galaxy filament is pressed and melted at just the right temperature to make it suitable for spreading into layers in the print zone. In the final stage, each print layer undergoes a solidification process. For the final result to be as faithful as possible, efficient cooling by means of a fan in the printer head is required to speed up the solidification of the filament layers, from the first to the last one.
