Description
Shield forArduino, which allows you to play uncompressed audio files .wav to 22 kHz, 12-bit in any size fromSD memory cardor MMC. The volume can be adjusted with the potentiometer. The set consists of elements for self-assembly.
Key features
- Can play uncompressed 22kHz 16-bit (12-bit DAC) mono Wave (.wav)in any size. It's not CD quality, but enough to play music, voice or sound effects.
- Has access to a mono L and R channels, standard 3.5 mm headphone Jack and a connector for connection of a loudspeaker, which is activated when the headphones are disconnected.
- The files are read from SD/MMC card formatted FAT16 or FAT32.
- Shiel is not compatible with the formats MP3, WMA, Ogg and other compressed files, audio. Only works with uncompressed files, such as PCM / WAV.
- Included library and examples facilitate the reproduction of music.
- The library requires 10 KB of flash memory and more than 1/2 K of RAM for caching audio. Works with any device based on ATmega-328.
- Shield is not compatible with the Arduino Zero, Duo, Mega and Leonardo! (only works with the Arduino based on the 328)
- Set includes all items needed for installation (Arduino,headphones,speakerandmemory card SD/MMC cardnot included).
