Description: Smoke and temperature sensor Jablotron JA-111ST-A
Sensor forsmoke detection andtemperaturemeasurement. Warns against fire in the interior of residential or commercial buildings. The alarm is indicated by aloud sirenfrom the detector and other sensors in the system. It is powered by 12 V,incase of power loss, it is supported by 3AAbatteries(not included).

When the detector is powered from the control panel bus, it acts as asystem device (EN54-7; EN 54-5). When powered by3x 1.5 V AAbatteries,it works as astand-alone unit(EN14604)in case of loss of 12 V supply voltage or communication with the control panel.

The device is equipped withtwo sensors- anoptical smoke detectorand atemperature sensor. The optical smoke detector uses scattered light. It is very sensitive to particles in dense smoke, but it is not very sensitive to particles produced by burning liquids, e.g. alcohol, so it is additionally equipped with a temperature sensor which reacts better to fire.
