The Adafruit Backpack module is equipped with a 7-segment display consisting of 4 digits with dots. The total diagonal of the display is 0.56 " , the module digits are highlighted in white with the possibility of dimming with a resolution of 1/16 step. Thanks to the built-in matrix controller of the MAX7219 type, there is no need to connect a large number of wires, the whole is controlled via the I2C interface. The module is equipped with additionally with two quick connect connectors - Qwiic / STEMMA QT . On the board you can also find jumpers for selecting the I2C address, so you can connect up to eight 7-segment display modules. solder into the plate.
