Product description: 360 degree RPLidar laser scanner
Precision 2D laser scanner operating in 360 degrees with a range of 6 m. The refresh rate is up to 5.5 Hz, i.e. 2000 samples per second, and the serial interface - RX and TX outputs - is used for communication.
The device is easy to use thanks tosoftwareprovided by the manufacturer, including source code and demo program. Detailed information about the device can be found inthe user manual.
The device enables mapping of rooms and objects in it.

Software
The manufacturer providesopen source softwarefor various hardware platforms together withdocumentation. To test the device on a PC, simply connect the scanner with the included USB cable, download the SDK software and start the FRAME_GRABBER demo program.
