Description
Overlay to Arduino giving access to the Internet via GPRS network. The device also enables making voice calls and sending SMS messages. On the board there are connectors: for SIM card, audio output/input and integrated antenna.
The board uses twoArduino Unopins for communication: 2 - software TX and 3 - software RX.
The device is based on MT10 Quactel modem(documentation), which is compatible with the popular AT command set. This system works with frequencies: GSM850MHz, GSM900MHz, DCS1800MHz and PCS1900MHz, supports TCP/IP and HTTP protocol via GPRS connection. Maximum transmission speed is 85,6 kbps.

Power supply
The manufacturer recommends connecting a separate power supply with a current capacity between 0.7 A and 1.0 A. Power supply of the chip directly from the USB port is not recommended due to limited current.
Antenna
This version has an integrated antenna. In our offer there is also available Shieldwith connector for connecting external version.
