Description
The module enables remote switching on and off of systems that operate with a current or voltage other than that used by the control system. For example, it is not possible to connect a +12 V powered device directly to the microcontroller due to a voltage limitation of the outputs. The output from such situation can be an executive module with a relay.
The module is powered from a USB socket or a 2x4 pin connector. The circuit should be connected in an electrical circuit similar to a simple mechanical relay. It allows to short-circuit or open the circuit, depending on the connection method.
The module has a built-in 500 mA protection. If the flowing current exceeds this value, a fuse will switch on, which will switch off the circuit. To safely reset the unit, simply disconnect the power supply - there is no need to replace the fuse.
