Description
The MKII AVR Mini USB version is equivalent to the more powerful MKIIAVR PRO andis fully compatible with the AVRISP-MKII chip. It can be used to programAVR familymicrocontrollers: ATtiny, ATmega and ATxmega. It is equipped with two 2 x 3 pin ISP / PDI / TPI connectors.

Main features
- It supports most of theATmel microcontrollers,including all the ATtiny, ATmega, ATxmega families.
- Equipped with three programming interfaces: ISP, PDI and TPI. Switching between them is automatic.
- Built-in DC-DC converter instead of linear stabilizer.
- Mode button (S1) to change between AVR / Atmel Studio and AVRDude platforms.
- Possibility to power the programmed circuit directly from the USB port - selectable with a switch 5 V or 3.3 V power supply.
- Additional switch to choose power type: external or internal.
- Signalling LEDs.
IDC 6-pin cable, 30 cm long, for connecting the programmer to the chip.
Power supply
The AVR MKII MINI AVR programmer allows you to power the programmed circuit directly from the USB port of the computer to which it is connected. It is possible to power the board with 5 V or 3.3 V voltage. Power supply of the programmed circuit is selected by means of a switch. The maximum current that can be supplied to the system to be powered depends on the current capacity of the USB port and is about 500 mA.
