ThePico Display Pack 2.0 from Pimoroni is a display overlay module for the Raspberry Pi Pico. The 18-bit 2" IPS display with a resolution of 320 x 240 px features good color reproduction and a wide viewing angle. There are also four buttons on the board, allowing to create a simple user interface and one RGB LED on the board to create a simple user interface and one for notifications or other user-defined functions. Pico Display 2.0 allows you to create a simple user interface for a larger project, to give instructions, to display readings. It is also possible to display digitally generated Mandelbrot style graphics with graphs or readings from multiple sensors.
Getting started with the display
The markings on the board help you to properly place the Raspberry Pi Pico in the socket located on the module. The manufacturer has prepared a simple MicroPython uf2 file that contains the library and all the necessary extras to get started with the Raspberry Pi Pico. A user guide to the Raspberry Pi Pico has also been prepared, as well as sample MicroPython code and MicroPython functions. Display Pack 2.0 also works properly with CircuitPython and the Adafruit DisplayIO library.
