Product description: AN3485 - RS232 / RS422 / RS485 communication module for FPGA and SoC boards
The ALINX AN3485 module allows you to connect an FPGA development board or SoC to devices using the RS232 , RS485, and RS422 standards . The MAX3232, MAX3485, and MAX3490 chips handle level conversion, while the 3.3V TTL signals are output to a 40-pin female connector . The RS232 interface uses a standard male DB9 connector and supports speeds up to 120 kbps . Two RS485 and two RS422 channels operate at speeds up to 500 kbps and are available on convenient screw-type connectors. Built-in 120 Ω termination resistors can be jumpered to help adapt the bus over longer distances. The RS485 and RS422 lines also feature ±15 kV ESD protection. A wide operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C allows the module to be used in prototypes and industrial systems.

The AN3845 module includes one RS232 interface, two RS485 communication interfaces and two RS422 interfaces.
