The Bambu Lab H2C is an advanced FDM 3D printer designed for multi-material and multi-color printing. It utilizes the innovative Vortek system with interchangeable hotends, enabling printing with up to 7 filaments without the need for nozzle cleaning. The compact design allows for the installation of 6 induction hotends , and the seventh channel can be used for support materials or an additional color. The AMS system, in a parallel configuration (multiple connected units), supports up to 24 filaments . The device offers a large build volume : up to 305 x 320 x 325 mm (right nozzle), up to 325 x 320 x 325 mm (left nozzle), and 300 x 320 x 325 mm when actively working with two heads. The total build volume is as much as 330 x 320 x 325 mm , allowing for the printing of large models or multiple components simultaneously. With a maximum print head temperature of 350°C and a heated bed up to 120°C , the H2C handles demanding engineering materials such as PA, PC, PPS, and CF/GF composites. The printer offers 70% more extruder force , providing better control over the printing process, especially with more challenging materials.

The revolutionary Vortek system
H2C introduces the Vortek system , a solution for automatic hotend replacement. Unlike traditional printers with a single multi-material nozzle, the Vortek eliminates the need for cleaning between filament changes. Thanks to induction heating in 8 seconds , material changes are quick and clean, and each hotend can store filament information. The system works with AMS 2 Pro, making filament changes fully automatic.
Minimal material loss
The H2C's multi-material printing system virtually eliminates material waste when changing filaments (purge waste) compared to the H2D or X1C models. It's the ideal solution for multi-color printing without compromising aesthetics or material savings.
Detailed supervision with AI
The printer is equipped with 59 sensors and three cameras , including a macro camera in the nozzle. The computer vision system detects problems in real time, such as clogs, spatter, or incorrect filament feeding. The system automatically performs a "pre-flight check" and scans the build surface before each print.
Ready for demanding filaments
All 7 hotends in the system reach temperatures up to 350°C . Active chamber heating up to 65°C reduces deformation, improves layer adhesion and enables stable printing with filaments such as PA, PC, PPS or CF/GF composites.

Safety and air quality
The printer's housing is made of UL94 V-0 fire-resistant materials. The four-stage filtration system (G3 pre-filter, HEPA H12, coconut shell carbon filter) effectively traps PM and VOC particles , ensuring a clean working environment even when printing from engineering materials.
Offline mode and open ecosystem
The H2C supports offline mode , ensuring security in industrial applications. In developer mode, it enables communication via MQTT and integration with external systems . The device works with popular slicers: Bambu Studio, Super Slicer, Cura, and PrusaSlicer.
AMS 2 Pro system included
The AMS 2 Pro is an automatic filament feeding system that allows printing with up to four materials without the need for manual spool changes. Precise sensors monitor filament flow and condition, and a built-in cutter ensures clean switching. Compared to the previous generation of AMS, the Pro version offers an active drying system with automatic spool rotation , increased filament feed speed, and high-hardness ceramic guides . Tool-free access to the device's interior simplifies maintenance and troubleshooting.
The AMS system supports up to 24 filaments in parallel configuration.
