The activated carbon filter is a replacement cartridge for the Mintion V1 air purifier . It uses granular activated carbon with a high iodine value, which is responsible for adsorbing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and reducing odors generated during 3D printing. Among other things, the filter is designed to adsorb styrene associated with ABS and ASA, as well as caprolactam generated when working with PA.

Product Description: Activated Carbon Filter for Mintion V1 Air Purifier for 3D Printers
The activated carbon filter is a replacement filter element for the Mintion V1 air purifier used during 3D printing . In its standard configuration, it serves as the third stage of filtration , located after the pre-filter and HEPA H13 filter. The filter uses granular activated carbon with a high iodine value , which adsorbs volatile organic compounds and helps reduce odors generated during filament processing. The filter traps styrene associated with ABS and ASA , caprolactam associated with Nylon/PA printing, and acetaldehyde and lactide associated with PLA and PETG. Designed specifically for the Mintion V1, the filter is not compatible with earlier versions of the system.
