Product Description: Activated Carbon Filter for Mintion V1 Air Purifier for 3D Printers
The activated carbon filter is a replacement filter element for the Mintion V1 air purifier used during 3D printing . In its standard configuration, it serves as the third stage of filtration , located after the pre-filter and HEPA H13 filter. The filter uses granular activated carbon with a high iodine value , which adsorbs volatile organic compounds and helps reduce odors generated during filament processing. The filter traps styrene associated with ABS and ASA , caprolactam associated with Nylon/PA printing, and acetaldehyde and lactide associated with PLA and PETG. Designed specifically for the Mintion V1, the filter is not compatible with earlier versions of the system.
