Product description: Filament Rosa3D ASA 1.75 mm 0.7 kg - with reusable spool - White
Blue ASA (acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylic) filament , used in 3D printers working in FFF / FDM technology. The material was pre-wound on a spool and vacuum-packed. The filament diameter is 1.75 mm . ASA filaments are resistant to UV radiation, moisture and heat, thanks to which the prints can be used outdoors. The material has less shrinkage. It gives off a little perceptible smell. The softening point of ASA prints is higher compared to PLA and PETG. ASA is suitable for automotive, marine and exterior applications such as mirror housings, covers, radiator grills and sensor housings.
In our offer of filaments you will also find other materials and colors.
Main features of ASA material
- The ASA filament is resistant to UV radiation, moisture and heat. Can be used outdoors
- ASA has lower shrinkage than popular ABS. It also gives off less annoying fumes during printing
- The thermoplastic shows no signs of deformation up to a temperature of about 94 ° C
- ASA material is often used in the automotive and marine industries
It is recommended to print in a closed chamber.
The adhesion of the first layer to the table can be improved with ASY juice (ASA material dissolved in acetone).
