Product description: Filament Fiberlogy FiberFlex 40D 1.75 mm 0.5 kg - Black
This black filament is designed for 3D printers that don't have protection against third-party filaments. The material's diameter is 1.75 mm and its net weight is 0.5 kg . The filament is made of flexible Flex material with a Shore A hardness of 40D . This 3D printer filament has high impact strength at low temperatures and is resistant to abrasion and various chemicals. The manufacturer recommends heating the bed to 110°C for easier 3D print removal.

Our range of filaments also includes other materials and colors.

Fiberlogy FiberFlex 40D filament 1.75 mm 0.5 kg - Black
FiberFlex 40D material boasts a high flow rate, allowing for printing at speeds up to 45 mm/s. At the same time, there's no need to worry about loss of quality or detail. Another important feature is its excellent adhesion, both the first layer and the subsequent ones. This, in turn, translates into the attractive appearance of the models and their high tightness.
Fiberlogy FiberFlex 40D filament is distinguished by its strength and durability, ensuring prints retain their appearance and properties for a long time. Its specific density is 1.16 g/cm³. Moisture absorption is 0.6%, and its melting point is 157℃.
Fiberlogy FiberFlex 40D filament - what else is worth knowing?
FiberFlex 40D filaments manufactured by Fiberlogy are characterized by an elasticity of 57% (measured using the D2632 test method). Maximum material shrinkage is 0.8%. The tensile strength of FiberFlex 40D filament is a staggering 115 kN*/m. Retraction speed ranges from 10 to 30 mm/s. At break, the material elongates by 680%.
According to the manufacturer's recommendations, airflow should be set between 50% and 75%. It's also recommended to use masking tape on the build plate. The filament is suitable for use in devices with a closed chamber, which is designed to maintain a stable temperature, as well as in printers without this feature.
