The module utilizes a quad-core 2.4 GHz Arm Cortex-A76 processor , providing ample power to run the operating system, network services, user applications, and data processing. Built-in 32 GB eMMC memory and 16 GB RAM facilitate the running of more complex applications and multitasking. The Hailo-8 M.2 AI Acceleration chip offers performance of up to 26 TOPS, allowing the computer to perform local image analysis without having to upload all data to the cloud. This improves system response time, reduces network load, and increases data privacy.
reComputer Industrial R2245-12 is an AI NVR for intelligent video monitoring, image analysis from IP cameras and real-time event detection.
In industrial automation, it can integrate data from sensors, PLCs, counters and actuators using RS485, RS232, CAN FD ports and digital inputs and outputs.

Four Gigabit Ethernet ports with PoE PSE support enable simultaneous data transmission and powering of IP cameras, significantly simplifying AI monitoring installation. An additional Gigabit Ethernet port can be used to connect to a local network, server, router, or higher-level management system. For industrial communication, isolated RS485, RS232, CAN FD, DI, and DO ports are available, allowing you to connect PLCs, counters, I/O modules, sensors, relays, and actuators. The computer also offers HDMI 2.0, USB Type-A 3.0, and USB Type-C 2.0 ports for system flashing and debugging, a 3.5mm audio jack, a nano SIM slot , and antenna points for wireless modules . Thanks to the M.2 and miniPCIe slots, the computer can be expanded with NVMe memory, 4G / 5G LTE, LoRa or ZigBee communication.
Programming and implementing AI applications
The reComputer Industrial R2245-12 supports Raspberry Pi and Debian , allowing it to be programmed using popular tools from the Raspberry Pi ecosystem. You can develop applications in Python, C, C++, Node.js, or other languages supported by Linux , and use web services, Docker containers, and libraries for industrial devices. USB Type-C 2.0 access allows you to flash the operating system and debug the device while running your project. The platform is well-suited to working with AI frameworks and computer vision tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX, OpenCV, and solutions compatible with the Hailo-8 accelerator . Models can be prepared, optimized, and deployed locally, then used to analyze images from multiple cameras in real time. This allows the reComputer to function as an autonomous edge AI node, processing data close to the source and sending only analysis results or alarms to the host system.
The M.2 M-Key 2280 socket is designed to support 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB NVMe M.2 2280 SSDs.
The fanless cooling design enables stable operation in a wide temperature range from -20°C to 50°C.
