One of the items presented in the traditional relays section is Adafruit FeatherWing Latching Mini Relay with Feather overlay - it is a module from the Feather family, which can remember the last state even after a power outage. It allows you to control the actuators using the built-in microcontroller. It is equipped with a reset button - we also get a goldpin strip and a screw connector included with the relay. How does a latching relay work? Such an element has two resting states - when the current is switched on, the relay stays in the last state. This is due to the use of an electromagnet working with a ratchet mechanism that keeps the contacts in the last position.
