Prusament PLA is a Prusa brand filament designed for FDM 3D printers . Each spool has a unique QR code allowing you to check its production parameters. PLA filament is characterized by low shrinkage, good first-layer adhesion, and excellent print surface quality . This makes it an excellent choice for both beginners and advanced users. The Opal Green filament is dark green, 1.75 mm in diameter, and weighs 1 kg . It is biodegradable – made from renewable natural resources. It can be repeatedly heated above its melting point without significant loss of properties. It is characterized by low temperature resistance and is intended for indoor use .

Prusament PLA filament properties

- Low melting point - about 175°C
- It can be heated repeatedly above the melting point without significant loss of properties.
- High hardness (81 Shore D), but also brittle - may chip when broken
- Limited temperature resistance - loses mechanical properties above 60°C
- Not UV-resistant - recommended for indoor use
- It is recommended to connect the prints with glue - the filament is insoluble in common chemicals
- Low moisture absorption - 0.13% after 24 hours, but storage in a dry place is recommended
- Perfectly maintains dimensions - dimensional tolerance of ± 0.02 mm ensures print precision
- High interlayer adhesion - 17 ± 3 MPa
Practical applications
PLA is one of the most popular 3D printing materials. It's easy to use, adheres well to the print bed, and ensures stable, warp-free prints . The filament is quite hard but brittle, has low resistance to high temperatures, and is not suitable for mechanical applications. Ideal for creating decorations, toys, concept models, and visual elements . Wet sanding is recommended. Recommended adhesives: cyanoacrylate.

30 days to return, without giving a reason
