The Raspberry Pi 4 model B Dual RAM is a modern minicomputer equipped with 2 GB of LPDDR4 memory and a powerful Broadcom BCM2711 Quad-Core Cortex-A72 64-bit 1.8 GHz processor. It offers two microHDMI outputs for 4K display, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet , and wireless connectivity with DualBand WiFi and Bluetooth 5/BLE . The Dual RAM variant is based on the new PCB revision 13a, which uses two physical LPDDR4 memory chips . This change was introduced by Raspberry Pi to increase DRAM supply flexibility and does not affect functionality or electrical parameters. The board also still includes 40 GPIO connectors, a CSI and DSI connector, and a memory card slot (microSD) .

The Dual RAM variant uses a modified PCB, but the most important functions of the Raspberry Pi 4 model B remain unchanged - the minicomputer retains the same format, connectors and application possibilities .

New Raspberry Pi 4 PCB Revision
The Dual RAM version uses a new PCB revision designated PCB 13a and software model Rev 1.5 . A second LPDDR4 chip has been added to the bottom of the board , and some passive components have been moved to accommodate the new memory layout. Raspberry Pi confirms that the changes are for manufacturing and logistical reasons, and that the electrical parameters and capabilities of the device remain unchanged from previous versions of the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B.
Power supply for the Raspberry minicomputer version 4
To power the Raspberry Pi 4, it requires a power supply with a USB-C connector and an output voltage of 5V. The minimum recommended current output is 3A. We offer original power supplies and branded replacements compatible with the Raspberry Pi.
There is an additional LPDDR4 chip on the bottom of the board, and some of the small passive components have been moved.

The Raspberry Pi 4 has two smaller HDMI ports—microHDMI— that allow you to connect two monitors and transmit audio and video in 4K resolution. An additional 4-pole 3.5mm jack allows you to connect headphones, speakers, or output video via RCA Composite. The device uses the H.265 (4Kp60), H.264 (1080p30) compression standards, and OpenGL ES 1.1, 2.0, and 3.0 graphics.
Operating system for Raspberry

Communication in Raspberry Pi 4
The Raspberry Pi features traditional communication ports found on desktop PCs and laptops. The following connectors are available to users:
- 2 microHDMI ports for connecting two monitors at the same time, each with a resolution of up to 4K
- WiFi module - dual-band WiFi network module: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz 802.11b/g/n/ac - the latest Raspbian / NOOBs system is equipped with appropriate drivers
- Bluetooth 5 module - enables data transfer via the popular interface, now in version 5.
- Two USB 3.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports for connecting peripherals such as a mouse, keyboard, WiFi adapter, flash drive, or hard drive. The number of ports can be increased by using an external USB hub.
- Ethernet socket for connecting to the Internet via cable at speeds up to 1000 Mb/s
- GPIO - The board has 40 pins (2x20, 2.54 pitch) that can be used to connect switches, LEDs, and sensors. Communication is via I2C, SPI, and UART interfaces.
The board has dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi, Bluetooth 5 / BLE, an Ethernet port with speeds up to 1000 Mb/s and the possibility of powering via PoE (with an additional overlay).
