Description

The module allows, in a simple way, to bring the supply voltage of 5 V or 3.3 V to the prototype breadboard. The system is equipped with a popular DC connector to connectthe AC adapter. The device also has a USB output,type A, enabling the lead of the 5V power for other systems, e.g. Arduino. Using the jumpers, the user selects a level of voltage of 3.3 V or 5 V, for a given rail of board. Power indicated by the LED, can be disabled with the button.

The choice of the supply voltage

The output voltage is selected using jumpers on each side rail of the breadboard. At a user disposal is the value of 5 V and 3.3 V (you can choose any value on each line). In addition, power will be connected using the connector located in the central part of the board using the wires.

Question: By plugging the module into the board and disconnecting one of the jumpers completely, will the voltage be applied to only one bus? Is it possible to power only one bus?
Answer: After removing the jumper, there will be no voltage on the + - pins.

It fulfills its task very well and allows you to choose two basic supply voltages that are commonly used. I did not check 3.3V because I only use 5V now, but this higher voltage is regulated very well - after measuring with a multimeter it was almost perfect. I'm sure the 3.3V voltage is equally well regulated. This is a huge advantage worth mentioning. You had to try a bit to put this module on the breadboard, but I personally consider it an advantage, because it sticks to it really solidly, so you can be sure that no unexpected situation will occur. Overall: I have been using it for a long time and I am very satisfied. Even at the time of writing this opinion, this module (along with the power supply described earlier) is in use and works perfectly. :-) I will definitely recommend it to my friends if they need a convenient solution for powering the contact plates - personally I do not know a more convenient one. :-)
