Pimoroni Li-Pol Amigo is a charger module for lithium-polymer batteries (Li-Pol) and lithium-ion batteries (Li-Ion) . The module is equipped with a USB Type-C port for connecting the power supply to charge the cell and a JST-PH socket for connecting the battery. In addition, the board has diodes indicating the current charging status and a system that protects the battery against damage. The module can charge the battery with a current of up to 500 mA after switching to Fast Charge mode, by shorting the pads on the bottom of the board.
