Prusament Resin Cleaner DPM is a liquid for washing uncured resin prints from SLA printers with a flash point of 75 °C that evaporates much more slowly than isopropyl alcohol (IPA).

Prusament Resin Cleaner DPM for washing prints
Prusament Resin Cleaner DPM is an organic solvent for washing uncured SLA prints with a flash point of 75 °C that evaporates much more slowly than isopropyl alcohol. The bottle holds 1 l of colourless liquid, and 2 l wash effectively until saturated with 100 ml of resin.
The manufacturer tested the cleaner in the Original Prusa CW1S with Prusament resins: 2 l of DPM clean effectively until saturated with 100 ml of liquid resin, then gradually lose their effectiveness. Washing takes a few minutes and is not much different from washing in IPA.

- you need a liquid that evaporates from the print quickly, as DPM evaporates slower than IPA
Did you know?
No risk of peroxides
Isopropyl alcohol can form unstable peroxides, but DPM does not form such compounds. The manufacturer points out that you cannot accidentally make explosive materials from this cleaner.

How many washes does Prusament Resin Cleaner DPM last?
The manufacturer states that 2 l of cleaner wash effectively until saturated with 100 ml of liquid resin, then gradually lose effectiveness. So the number of cycles depends on how much resin remains on your prints.
How do I wash a print in DPM?
Fill the CW1S tank with the cleaner and run a 5-15 minute washing cycle, depending on the model. Then rinse it in a second tank with water, optionally blow it off with compressed air and dry it in the CW1S before curing.
What should I do with used DPM?
Treat used cleaner with resin residue, rinse water, soiled towels and gloves as toxic waste and take them to a hazardous waste collection point. Never pour them down the drain or throw them into general household waste.
