Product description: PEI spring steel plate - for Prusa CORE One L printers - textured for PP materials
The Prusa CORE One L PP powder-coated sheet is designed for printing with polypropylene-based filaments . PP materials typically have lower adhesion to standard sheets, so the sheet features a special, slightly textured, satin-like finish that improves first-layer adhesion and increases print stability . The sheet does not require a separation layer and can be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. Please note that acetone should not be used to clean the sheet , as it can partially dissolve the sheet's surface, leave stains, and negatively impact adhesion properties and product lifespan.
Never clean a steel plate with acetone! Contact with acetone causes micro-cracks in the PEI structure, which leads to surface deterioration over time.
