3D printing using FFF/FDM technology requires heating the thermoplastic material (filament) to the appropriate temperature. Exposure to high temperature causes the filament to change from solid to liquid. The active element responsible for raising the temperature is the heater, which is located in the heating block. In turn, the block is one of the most important elements of the hotend head. Properly functioning heaters for 3D printers allow for precise temperature setting, and thus effective 3D printing.
