Original Prusa CORE One L Critical Infrastructure Edition is an enclosed CoreXY 3D printer with a 300 x 300 x 330 mm build volume and a mainboard without a Wi-Fi slot. The wireless circuitry is physically removed, the printer ships without a camera, and the manufacturer provides Letters of Volatility, documents for your security team describing what the device stores.

What makes this model stand out
Network isolation in the mainboard, not in the settings
The Wi-Fi connectors and wireless circuitry are physically removed from the mainboard, not just disabled in software, so the isolation can be verified in the hardware itself. Keep in mind that without Wi-Fi and a camera you cannot monitor prints remotely, so if no security requirements apply to you, the standard CORE One L will be more convenient.

Large parts in engineering materials in a chamber up to 60 °C
The AC heatbed is milled from a thick block of aluminum, and two fans underneath create convection that heats the chamber to a stable 60 °C. This is the key to reliable printing of engineering materials, meaning plastics resistant to heat and load, such as PC, ASA and PA, without warping or cracking.

Which USB drive is included?
The package includes a certified 30 GB USB drive with hardware encryption and a numeric keypad, compatible with the printer. It is used for secure transfer of print files between the computer and the printer.
How does the CORE One L Critical Infrastructure Edition differ from the standard CORE One L?
The CIE edition has a mainboard without a Wi-Fi slot and related circuitry and ships without a camera, while the standard CORE One L has Wi-Fi and a 1080p camera in the package. The build volume, the chamber up to 60 °C and the print parameters are the same.
What data remains in the printer after the power is switched off?
The printer has no mass storage, and the volatile memory that buffers the print file is cleared when the power is switched off. Firmware, SSL certificates and calibration are stored in FLASH and EEPROM memory, and you can erase settings and passwords with a factory reset or a firmware update.
How do I update the firmware without internet?
You receive the update as a package on a USB drive that you prepare, check and approve yourself. The printer does not force online updates and does not connect to the manufacturer's servers.
What are the dimensions and weight of the CORE One L CIE?
The printer measures 469 x 521 x 635 mm and weighs 21.9 kg, and the build volume is 300 x 300 x 330 mm. It arrives fully assembled and factory calibrated.
Does the printer have a camera?
No. The CIE edition ships without a camera, so the printer records no images of the chamber. You check the print status on the 3.5-inch color touchscreen.
