CORE One L+: twice the build volume of CORE One and an actively heated chamber
Original Prusa CORE One L+ is an assembled CoreXY 3D printer with a 300 x 300 x 330 mm build volume, twice as large as in CORE One, and a chamber actively heated up to 60 °C. It arrives factory-calibrated, and the manufacturer states that about 5 minutes pass from unboxing to the first print.
The L+ version gets GT1.5 belts, a nozzle wiper and the latest firmware, while the build volume, chamber and aluminum heatbed stay the same as in CORE One L.

The CORE One L+ heatbed is made entirely of aluminum and has two heating loops, and the manufacturer states a temperature variance below 2 °C across 99% of the surface, so large models do not lift at the corners. Keep in mind that the printer measures 469 x 521 x 635 mm, so if you are short on space and print smaller models, the CORE One+ (Gen 2) is a better choice.

The 29.7-liter build volume fits helmets, props, scale models, jigs and whole batches of parts that you would have to split into pieces on a smaller printer. The CoreXY system with Input Shaper and Phase Stepping vibration compensation moves the print head at up to 500 mm/s without losing quality.

Convection heatbed that heats the whole chamber
Two fans under the heatbed draw in cool air and push it across the heated aluminum plate, so the chamber quickly reaches 60 °C. The stable temperature reduces warping of engineering materials, meaning plastics more resistant to heat and impact, such as ASA, ABS, PC and PA.
- The heatbed detects a 110 V or 230 V grid by itself and adjusts heating
- The printer runs from a standard outlet, without a dedicated electrical installation
- The vent opens automatically for PLA and PETG and closes for high-temperature materials
- You can connect the chamber to building ventilation or add the filtration system

What is new in CORE One L+
Before every print, the nozzle passes over the built-in wiper that removes leftover filament, so the first layer starts without strings or blobs. GT1.5 belts make fine repeating patterns on large, smooth surfaces less visible.
- The latest firmware simplifies everyday operation and reduces the tasks needed at the printer
- Two nozzles are included: a pre-mounted brass High Flow 0.4 mm and a hardened 0.4 mm for abrasive filaments

Fun fact
Lighter despite twice the build volume
The CORE One L frame is based on the steel exoskeleton of the CORE One+, but some panels are made of aluminum. As a result, the CORE One L+ weighs less than the CORE One+, even though it offers twice the build volume.

Frequently asked questions
How does CORE One L+ differ from CORE One L?
CORE One L+ has new GT1.5 belts, a built-in nozzle wiper and the latest firmware. The 300 x 300 x 330 mm build volume, chamber up to 60 °C and aluminum heatbed are the same as in CORE One L.
Does CORE One L+ need a special outlet?
No. Despite the large heatbed and actively heated chamber, the printer runs from a standard 230 V outlet. The heatbed detects a 110 V or 230 V grid by itself and adjusts heating.
How much power does CORE One L+ use?
The manufacturer states 16 W in standby, about 630 W while preheating, about 90 W when printing PLA and about 215 W when printing ASA.
How long does it take to start after unboxing?
The printer arrives assembled and factory-calibrated. You connect the cable to the display panel, snap the panel in place and switch the printer on, and the manufacturer states about 5 minutes to the first print.
When should I use the hardened nozzle from the box?
The pre-mounted brass High Flow nozzle works well with most filaments and fast printing. You fit the hardened 0.4 mm nozzle for abrasive filaments such as PA-CF or PC-CF.
Does CORE One L+ work without the internet?
Yes. You can set up, update and operate the printer fully offline and load files from a USB drive. You can physically remove the Wi-Fi module and leave the camera uninstalled.
