The xTool O1 Omni Dual UV version is designed for creatives and small businesses needing a wide range of professional UV printing capabilities. Two Epson F1080 printheads work with CMYKWV and RW/FW/FR/FY channels, allowing the device to print in full color, use white for rigid and flexible substrates, varnish, and fluorescent colors . The Pixel-Scan system maps the object's location and supports design positioning with an accuracy of ±0.2 mm . The working area reaches 330 x 420 mm , and the maximum height of raised textures is 7 mm . The printer is compatible with xTool Studio on Windows and macOS , supports remote cleaning and control, and automatic mixing and circulation of white ink. The Dual UV version does not support direct DTG or DTF textile printing, but allows for UV DTF transfers with the use of an optional laminator.

UV printing technology in xTool O1 Omni

UV printing technology involves depositing very fine drops of special ink directly onto the surface of an object. A UV lamp located near the printhead hardens the ink during printing . This allows subsequent layers to be built without long drying times. Two Epson F1080 Dual UV printheads enhance this process with additional white and fluorescent inks , allowing the device to create both classic prints and more advanced decorative effects. Ink can be applied in layers, allowing for textures and reliefs up to 7 mm high . Varnish can be used to highlight selected portions of the design and achieve glossy or matte surfaces . With separately available optional materials and accessories, it's also possible to create lamination effects and DTF UV transfers.

What materials can the xTool O1 Omni print on?

The Dual UV version is designed for both rigid and selected flexible materials . It can work with acrylic , wood , metal, glass, ceramics, plastics, paper, canvas, and leather , among others. For some smooth surfaces, such as glass, ceramics, metal, and acrylic, using a suitable primer can improve print adhesion . A special Flexible White (FW) channel allows for better print adaptation to materials such as leather. Cylindrical objects, such as mugs and thermoses, can be marked with the optional OR1 rotary module. Dual UV is not designed for direct-to-textile printing —for such applications, the UV + DT Fabric variant should be selected.

Precise positioning and professional color reproduction

The printer's vision system operates at a resolution of 1440 x 1200 dpi and supports print positioning with an accuracy of ±0.2 mm . The scanning module analyzes the surface of the placed object, allowing the design to be more precisely adjusted to its position and shape. This is particularly useful for personalizing finished products, where even the slightest misalignment can be visible. Graphics are reproduced with a print resolution of 720 x 1440 dpi and an extensive set of ink channels. In addition to standard CMYK colors, white, varnish, and fluorescent red and yellow are available, allowing for the creation of prints difficult to achieve with basic UV printers. Commercial-grade color solutions and compliance with the G7 standard help maintain color consistency between projects.
